Growing up

Well, we officially have a big kid... Big kid bike with training wheels for our 4th birthday!! Now for mom to get a bike so we can do some mother-daughter biking...

So - we acquired the bench the kids in Aubry's class painted at the school auction last night...

The Rodeo Is Here!!

So the whole family went to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo today. We had so much fun with Noni & Papa - we saw pig races and rode ponies! We even went on our first roller coaster and LOVED it!! By the time we got home with our horses (Lucky & Lucy) we were exhausted!!

We went out to celebrate Shayn, Mike & Kevin! Happy birthday boys!!

Rodeo Time

Well, the trail riders came into town this morning and the Robinson family greeted them with their Papa. First we had to get into rodeo gear and Aub is all over that... Then we headed out to the parade!

Little Rothko

So I decided to let my kids do the art for our house and bought some stretched canvas for them to cover with paint. So not only will we finally have some art for our house - we also have a good Sunday afternoon activity!

Brothers

So the big kids really love their little brother and Reede thinks he is sturdy enough to play with him! Needless to say Miller LOVES it!!! We will definitely have our hands full with this little mister!

Aub has a super cute new hairdo!! And she gave me a wink to go with it!

Love our neighborhood

So this is not the best picture but it is the only one I took yesterday during our awesome Heights day! Aub, Miller & I went for a walk around 3ish and as we walked past one house the dad was in the side yard and asked if we were coming to the backyard... I was a little confused but looked around and realized we were by Hector's house! So we went to the back where Aubry played with all the kids and the adults visited over wine and cheese... I made new friends while Aubry had fun playing with her school friend! What a perfect Sunday afternoon!

Well we are quite the fashion plate for school today... She told me the other day that she is a "stylish" girl!

So I have this corner in our family room where we have the kid table and I need ideas on how to liven this space up... Any ideas and thoughts are welcome!

Aubry is a busy "mom"

Aubry has lots of babies and as she was putting then to bed last night she told us that they were a "handful"... Well, evidently they wanted to sleep with her last night...

Happy New Year

So - we had a busy 2011 and I am really hoping for a calm (relatively speaking) 2012 - no moves, no new babies, just living our fun lives! And keeping up with kiddos! So, I am going to try to be better about making posts to see if I can do this blogging thing... I get inspired about once a year, so we will see if it lasts longer this time... In an effort to start this our right here are some beautiful pictures that my new sister-in-law took of the kids on Thanksgiving.
